My Story of Transformation

Hi, I’m Venesa

a Food Engineer and a Licensed Evidence-Based Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach. But more than my credentials, I'm someone who understands what it feels like to be completely lost in your own life. This is the story of how I rebuilt myself from the inside out.

There was a time I looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize the person staring back. Not because of how I looked, but because of how I felt.

I grew up in a country where being queer was not accepted and spent years suppressing my identity, ashamed of who I truly am. This caused tension in my relationships, but especially in the one I had with myself. I tried to mask this deeper sense of disconnection, anxiety, and low self-worth through cycles of unhealthy habits: partying, drinking, and binge eating.

I kept running: changing countries, jobs, relationships hoping a new life would bring a new me. But nothing filled the void. Even in fitness, I struggled with constant plateaus and setbacks. No matter how hard I trained or what diets I tried, progress felt slow, inconsistent, or temporary. I was chasing external solutions for an internal storm.

The turning point came after the end of a relationship, when I finally faced my deep sense of low self-worth. I had the courage to turn inward, exploring stillness through meditation. Spending hours reflecting, I became aware of patterns and feelings I hadn’t recognized before.

What started years ago as a simple fitness routine truly evolved into a full-blown rebirth when I turned inward and discovered the power of mindfulness: including mindful habits, mindful eating, and purposeful training. I started showing up differently: waking up early, journaling, meditating, training with intention, and fueling my body with care. Slowly, I reconnected with myself, my values, my identity, and my inner fire.

I finally let go of perfection and in its place, I built strength, purpose and self-love. After exploring multiple careers, I finally discovered my true mission: empowering women to transform themselves from the inside out after a breakup or life transition. Becoming an evidence-based personal trainer and nutrition coach allowed me to combine science, mindfulness, and lived experience in a way that creates real, lasting change.

Being queer and genderfluid has taught me the importance of honoring who you truly are and that perspective shapes how I support others in igniting their own fire, no matter who they are.
